Every Thursday night, LÓA Restaurant shines a light on Reykjavik’s most promising young bands.

The Next Generation concert series features artists from Center Studios – Reykjavik, a creative hub closely connected to Iceland’s top music schools. It’s where young musicians, many still in their teens, form bands, write original music, and grow into their sound and stage confidence.

Tonight’s band: 5K

5K is a six-girl band fresh out of high school, bringing energy, emotion, and confidence to the stage. They play a mix of their own original songs, beautiful, catchy, mainstream pop and personal cover versions of international hits you already know.

Their shows are lively, warm, and intimate, creating a strong connection with the audience from the first song to the last.
