Every Thursday night, LÓA Restaurant shines a light on Reykjavik’s most promising young bands.

The Next Generation concert series features artists from Center Studios – Reykjavik, a creative hub closely connected to Iceland’s top music schools. It’s where young musicians, many still in their teens, form bands, write original music, and grow into their sound and stage confidence.

Tonight’s band: ESPOLIN!

A talented group of six young musicians, just 14 years old, playing a mix of covers and their own original songs. If you’re curious about what the next wave of Icelandic music looks like, this is a lovely way to spend the evening.
